Q: How do I know if I am eligible for your services?
A: Anyone with a pending lawsuit over the age of 18 is eligible for
litigation funding. Just give us a call. We will let you know if we are
able to provide funding for your case.
Q: Is litigation funding a loan?
A: No. Once we advance you the money, it is yours to keep without
any obligation to pay it back if you lose the case.
Q: How much money can I get?
A: Every case is different, but as a general rule, Plaintiff First will
advance 10-15 percent of the projected case value. Since we do not
subtract any fees or costs from your advance, you can apply for the
exact amount that you will need.
Q: How long will it take to get my advance?
A: The process is extremely quick. Plaintiff First can get you funds
within 24 hours of obtaining the required case information, and
sometimes on the same day.
|
Q: Is it true that these types of advances are expensive?
A: Although Plaintiff First offers some of the lowest rates in the industry,
providing funding prior to the outcome of a case carries a substantial
risk. As a result, these advances are expensive and should be sought
only if absolutely needed.
Q: How does the money get paid back?
A: You pay our fee solely from the proceeds of the settlement or judge-
ment.No payments are required while the case is pending. And, if you
do not win or settle, you owe us nothing.
Q: Are there any limitations on how I use the money?
A: No. It is completely up to you. |
